Nice atmosphere. Clearly they don’t need to be sensitive on price. While most establishments reason that any child comes with many adults and therefore charge reasonably for token toddler drinks, this cafe has decided to make its entire profit margin based on squeezing the child’s drinks. This pictured tumbler glass (fork head for scale) is £1.30. It looks to be about 20ml of milk. Really only to appease the toddler while the adults all ordered drinks and food. I wouldn’t return.
Good collection of coffee and hot chocolate.. kids can have some good time with colors.. a cosy place to hang out on a weekend..
Lovely atmosphere with very friendly service. Teacakes were slightly disappointing as they were much smaller and thinner than expected. It took quite a while to get our order as there was a bit of a rush at the time However, we didn't feel any pressure to move along after eating and sat for a while supping our drinks.
What a lovely little spot serving great coffee and yummy small treats! Nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Check it out :)
Tincan looks great and has a nice atmosphere. What lets it down are its staff, you are an inconvinience to them. I enquired about the "meat toastie", asking what meat it has in it, as I dont eat beef. Instead of helpfully mentioning that it is actually a ham and cheese toasty, the women behind the counter pointed at a sign behind here and said nothing. Glaring at me until after a few puzzled seconds looking, I mentioned there wasn't a "meat toastie" where she had pointed. She then walked to it and pointed at the croque monsieur. "This has ham in it". Just say ham next time and mention that the "meat toastie" is a croque monsieur... it would have saved us both a lot of time and would have been the kinder thing to do. The toastie was crap... wayyyyy too much dijon mustard, and i like mustard.
