Rented the upstairs for my 30th and an excellent time was had by all!! We were able to use the projector for a surprise quiz my partner organised, and sound system for karaoke, and they let us put up decor etc. Always great service from the staff at the lazy dog 👌🏼👌🏼
Roast was really good l got the mixed meat one. Beers good price especially at happy hour. Good collection of games to play. Some area outside is heated so nice and warm if you get those tables. Unfortunately one of the heat lamps was broken when I went. They let dogs in and got free dog treats on the bar. Staff all really friendly and a good laugh
Had a lovely time here at the comedy show with my boyfriend! Jack was an excellent bartender and upheld shining standards of customer service to us, thank you! Clearly explained different types of rum to me which I appreciated! You should give him a raise he was a sound lad :)
Had a banging roast today with friends at The Lazy Dog! Saw this place come recommended in a Bristol24/7 article and it’s not far from home so thought we’d give it a try. The roast was really good, all 4 of us went for the mixed meat one as we couldn’t make our minds up and the portion was absolutely huge! The roast came with decent crispy roasties, roasted parsnips and carrots, braised red cabbage, curly kale and creamy leeks as well as a huge Yorkshire pud! We also opted for the side of Calui cheese to share which was super saucy and had a nice punchy cheese flavour. I forced down a post roast Sticky Toffee Pudding (that I definitely didn’t need) and literally waddled out of the place totally stuffed! We’ll definitely be back! Only very slight constructive criticism was that we waited quite a long time to order at the bar despite it not being very busy at the time, and we had to ask 3 times for sauces as the staff forgot - but the food and the cool bar games we played more than made up for it!
Great vegetarian food, nice atmosphere, good wine! I absolutely loved the vegan bowl and nachos. Delicious and big portions. Would definitely come back!
