Bad experience!I got my bike serviced here about six months ago. At the time I did feel they were a bit rude and that it was strange that they couldn't fix my pannier frame to the bike frame, but I thought they were having a bad day; it happens. However I have had problems with my dynamo since and have just had it serviced elsewhere (for less than half the price) I found out the dynamo had been plugged in upside down, the handlebars had not been set straight and that all that was needed to fix the pannier frame was a bolt and nut.For the amount I paid and the bad service I got I'm making an exception to my general rule of not leaving reviews. I feel ripped off by this place so beware of getting your bike serviced here. There are friendlier, cheaper and more competent bike mechanics than this team.
Staff were unhelpful and desperately tried to upsell me on a horrendous amount of repairs which have turned out not to be necessary. Very unclear and uncoomunicative on timing. Four days after the day bike was supposed to be fixed i go in and it’s not fixed. Had to call up to chase as didn’t know where my bike was. Finally on getting it fixed i found i’d pay most of £100 for really not much work. Appalling value for money horrible treatment, you can get a much better, cheaper fix almost anywhere else in bristol
Went in to get my pedals changed and seat adjusted on an older bike which had stiffened up. The guys sorted it out there and then. They were very friendly and they quickly did everything I needed. Great service, would definitely recommend!
I couldn't be more happy with a consistently great experience at The Bike Man. Always friendly and helpful and I would strongly recommend.
