Absolutely lovely experience. The food was amazing. We had the kimchi jeon, the bibimbap, mandu guk (beef dumplings soup), and for dessert we had some baklava with saffron and pistachio ice cream (see pictures attached). All of the food was so good, highly recommend. For drinks we also got some tea - the famous Korean ginger & citron honey tea as well as the aloe and honey tea. Both amazing! Highly recommend! The service is exceptional, with a very personal touch. The staff take the time to come over, chat with you about the food, and offer recommendations to ensure you have the best experience. The restaurant is run by a very lovely Persian-Korean couple, and the owners were also present, engaging with guests and adding to the warm atmosphere. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Bristol!
Visited on a Thursday night. I have tried to book a Friday for weeks but they were always fully booked. Food was really good, interesting options most of which were new to us. Menu took a while read read and digest but with the help of our knowledgeable and enthusiastic server we all chose some thing different. We shared two starters and some bread which was tasty but it filled me up way too quickly. 4 different mains, all of which came with deliciously cooked rice. My mate said his choice was the best meal he’s had in a long while. I had meatballs in a spicy ( not very hot chilli spicy ) sauce that was interesting, tasty and very filling. I brought one huge meatball home with me in a box. Service was excellent, environment was very much to our liking. Mellow and relaxed. Food excellent. Service excellent. Criticisms? Ok, well Tap water was served in a carafe but it was like warm and worst of all, We only found out when it was time to pay, they don’t accept plastic, it’s either cash or bank transfer which we weren’t comfortable about. The meal including drinks came to about £30 a head. Give it a try, but book in advance and take cash.
Serving a variety of Korean and Persian dishes, they provide a range of dishes I've never seen before, and surprisingly all of the ones we picked were delicious! I would highly recommend the tempura for starters it was amazing. Vegetarian choices were available and still plenty of meat options. The bibimbap was lovely and I loved the way it was served in the hot bowl with the crispy rice and fresh ingredients. I would say it was slightly lacking flavour though The atmosphere was fantastic, it had a romantic feel, perfect for a date.
Delicious food, very good portions, excellent service, super nice atmosphere and music, the restaurant staff is super friendly and very nice.All the dishes are super delicious, especially the salmon teriyaki, probably the best I have ever tasted in my life.
Very tasty food, good ambiance and amazing service. Bit pricy but worth it tbh. We had the tteokbokki,kimchi jeon, and sizzling bibimbap. All delicious! Would be interested in trying persian food next time. Need to call to book in, would be great if they had a booking form or website to help manage this.
