A Costly and Disappointing Experience We were recently charged £275 for a half-head of highlights as an organised birthday treat from my family. See photos for final result: far from impressive, especially considering the price. I struggled to articulate my desired look so I showed photos for reference but she responded with frustration, claiming she didn't understand what I wanted. After a tense conversation, I reluctantly entrusted her with the color choices. Throughout the appointment, her attitude remained dismissive and uncaring. I simply wanted the ordeal to end as quickly as possible and left the salon in tears. I subsequently filed a complaint with the manager, who acknowledged the stylist's poor behaviour and apologised. A refund was discussed, but unfortunately, I never received any compensation, and my follow-up email went unanswered. This was an extremely disappointing experience, both in terms of the service and the final outcome.
Just recently came back from my first visit to Nualas salon and I could not recommend her enough. I travelled over 3 hours and it was so worth it. I was a nervous client as I hadn't had a curly cut before, however, her professionalism and knowledge was fantastic. I have no regrets in putting my complete faith in her and I've had SO many compliments on my hair since. Thank you Nuala, I will definitely be back
I recently visited Nuala Moray and had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Drew.The experience from start to finish was fantastic. Before starting, Drew took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. she asked insightful questions and offered helpful suggestions, making me feel confident that I was in good hands. Drew clearly has a deep understanding of different hair types and knew exactly how to handle my fine hair. The end result was even better than I had imagined. . While the services are a bit on the pricier side, I believe the quality of the work justifies the cost. I left the salon feeling like it was money well spent. I’m thrilled with my new look and will definitely be returning to Drew for future hair appointments. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch hairdresser
Georgie has been cutting my hair at the salon for a couple of years and it always looks and feels so lovely after it's been done. She's fab at advising on products to use and how to style the fine curls that I have. I've also got a silk pillowcase and Nuala hairbrush that I use for styling before I diffuse dry my hair All-in-all i highly recommend this salon and the lovely Georgie
After following the Nuala Morey Instagram page for ages, I decided to take the plunge and get a curly cut! I had Tomasina, who was very friendly and welcoming. She listened to exactly what I wanted and explained everything to me the whole way through. I came away a very happy customer with lots of tips in how to style my hair at home.
