Got pizza dough from here this week, as we have done so many times before. The dough is great and very reasonably priced but for the second time as of recent one of the bags was a significantly different size and weight than the other two. It’s quite an annoying error, particularly as it means one person gets a much smaller pizza than everyone else. I have attached photos of the dough on scales. Two of them weighing around 400g and the other 260g, less than 2/3 the size. When questioned, the dough was changed for one that was no bigger than the original outlier, and the senior staff member stated that they were sold by weight not size, which is maybe slightly reductive to suggest that the size of two bags containing the same thing is no indicator of their weight. A friend has also had exactly the same issue so it certainly doesn’t appear to be a one off, hopefully it’s a problem that can be rectified and I can remove the review. (Also attached a pic of the pizza because it’s great quality dough)

Having gone to this bakery for a while, I would of said previously that this bakery was really good with lovely staff, but having gone today the staff member was rude with an attitude and was spoken to not nice at all. If this is who you have to serve your customers your loose business. Was not a pleasant experience at all purely for the fact the staff member was rude
HEALTH AND SAFETY WORRYING AND COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE. My mother in law asked whether their olive bread contained ONLY olives as our cousin is highly, deathly allergic to seeds/nuts (which she told him). He said that it was only olives. When she got home, what did she see? Sesame seeds on top. Good thing she noticed and that they were an obvious topping as if they were baked inside of the crust and our cousin had eaten it, she could have died. Management NEED to arrange training as staff need to know the ingredients and not just guess as it could hurt someone, perhaps print ingredients list for them to check. Food for us non allergics has been fine in past, but this was very worrying hence the 1*.
Their pastries, donuts and muffins were delicious! Staff were also friendly, which adds to the experience. Will definitely be back for more tasty treats.
