The epitome of an independent, neighbourhood garage. Cliff fixed my oddly crocked Subaru ingeniously and I took a succession of cars to him for >10 years. He really 'gets' older cars and will solve problems for you in creative ways where other mechanics are stumped. He knows 4x4s particularly well. Don't expect a computer printed readout or a tidy while-u-wait area with coffee machine; what this garage offers is good old fashioned know-how, earned over a long track record of successful and economical repairs.
