First of all I have paid £ 180 pound deposited which surgery denied that I have paid, on another occasion same situation when I am being ask to pay for a deposit I have already paid, which lady on reception eventually say sorry and admitted that I was right. Called twice for emergency treatment which I was told to wait 2 weeks. On a visit when I was addressing problem I've been rushed and told the doctor doesn't have time to look at it beside I was waiting for appointment. Besides being registered as a NHS patient they made me pay full prices for a treatment. Left nearly 3 of my wages in this surgery being NHS patient. So be aware and take proof of all payment u make.
Cancelled my appointment without telling me. I booked the appointment online and received three texts and three emails confirming my appointment, my dentist, as well as a reminder. I booked a day off work, and it was only when I turned up on the day, I was told the appointment had been cancelled. Apparently they had left me a voicemail. Maybe they did, but I have no record of it, and even so, how can you think it is appropriate to send all these messages by text and email confirming my appointment, but not one to tell me its been cancelled? The reason my appointment was cancelled was because I haven't been in a while so apparently I have to reregister as a patient. Fine, but then why was I allowed to make the appointment in the first place? I did it all through their online system, surely that would know if I am a patient or not! Ruth on reception, who I spoke to today and who allegedly left me the voicemail, was curt and unhelpful and, without a whiff of an apology, immediately started telling me the fee for reregistering. If this is the policy of the practice, I think they need to urgently update their process, otherwise, they may need to rethink their reception staff. Which is a shame, because when I used to regularly, the dentists themselves were always very good.
