Had their today’s special was really lovely. Just a reminder that the portions are quite big if you don’t usually eat a lot they do serve small portions (some of the items) Staff are very friendly and food served quite quickly.
Went with my boyfriend and we both loved it. Amazing fresh food so tasty and grrat portions. The scrambled eggs on toasts were the best ones I had in Bristol! Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. The mains were so good ! Definitely recommended!
We went for lunch. There were quite a few people which is great for the business, especially after the regretful closure of the Hungarian Langos place in Bedminster.. but I felt the tables were pretty squeezed into one another. The staff was very nice and friendly. I felt that the food was slightly mediocre and the portions seemed a bit small for the price... the matcha tea was not properly made either. Two different dishes looked and tasted almost identical, and with the cake feeling a bit dry/old, I was tempted to only give 3 stars, but the spicy Hungarian pepper sauce they served with the main was so good we literally purchased 3 jars of it immediately after our lunch haha!
Food and service are great here. I've only tried the beef goulash and fish paprikash, but both were superb. Really keen to try more of the menu, especially looking at what others were eating. I can't speak for authenticity, not being familiar with hungarian food, but it was both delicious and different. Definitely one to go for if you're tired of standard pub fare but like your meat and two veg.
Visited to have brunch. Really good selection of breakfast options with a Hungarian twist. Great portion sizes and the food was very tasty. The juices were a highlight, very fresh and healthy
