Had my zip repaired here... it broke again within 3 weeks. Went back and politely explained that I had previous brought item in for zip repair and had now broken again. Man immediately got defensive - said that he had repaired the zip properly, it was fine when he has last given it to me, demanded to know what I had done to it (what did you do?!), and asserted that "this is your mistake!". I suggested the repair job might have not been done well or was poor quality, as I had not used the zip improperly. He got more defensive (this is your mistake!). I politely asked him to give me back the item, so that I could take it to a different tailors. He resisted, started saying he could do it again for £10. Had to ask several time for item to be given back to me. Eventually he huffed and gave it back, and turned away. If you want to get your clothes mended, there are plenty of other tailors on the Gloucester Road that do a better job without the side of attitude, and for the same price. I recommend you go elsewhere.
came in here to get my zip fixed on my favourite vintage leather jacket, wasn’t sure what to expect but they fixed it in literally less than 5 minutes and only charged me £8!! will definitely come back and recommend to everyone:)
Excellent tailors. Friendly staff. Helped me fit into a lovely coat after many years of not fitting in it. Instead of paying £100+ for a new coat I got mine sorted for £35. Very happy. And they have a cute dog called Lucy who they kindly introduced to me whilst they sorted my buttons for me. Highly recommend these guys!
I have taken several items here for repair and adjustment. It's a perfect job, every time. And if it's a small job they'll turn it around same day if you're lucky.
I had a bridesmaid dress needing some alterations and this man did it without a problem in such a short notice. His customer service is going above and beyond, and his prices are so worth the visit. I don’t usually write reviews, but he deserves the credit where it’s due. Thanks again and I will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.
