The zip on one of the pockets on my coat has come apart. As it’s a ski jacket, it’s only worn once a year. So having to repair it 3 times in two years can only mean the previous repairs weren’t done to a good standard and it has nothing to do with wear and tear. I paid about £10 each time so in total £30 to repair the same zip in 2 years. The owner blamed the poor quality of the zip is what caused 3 repairs yet other zips on my coat have not been broken. The bottom of the main zip on my son’s coat was damaged. The owner said he can stitch the bottom so the jacket can be worn as a pull-over coat. I came to collect it the next day. He was chatting to his colleague and told me he only put glue on and hasn’t done the stitching so I waited there. For a little bit of glue and stitching for 1 inch length of zip, he charged me £10! He offered me to do the stitching myself. I can’t stitch very neatly and as this is on the outside of a winter coat, I’d prefer the stitch to look neat and professional so I asked him to do it for me. But check out the photo and judge for yourself if this is the quality of stitching you expect from a tailor. It looks so carelessly stitched and just like the way I would have done myself but costs me £10. It looks urgly and is a complete rip off! I had enough of this shop and no chance of returning. There’s no price list and everything is determined on demand by the owner himself. Avoid!!

I had a nightmare last month where the zip on my dress broke the night before an event. I took it in to Daddy Alterations the next day and he had it fixed perfectly within a few hours, with loads of time before my event. Thank you so much!

Hamid is a brilliant tailor. I highly recommend him. He has put a new zip in my wife's parka, shortened trousers for me and shortened the sleeves in my brand new bikers leather jacket. The quality of the stitching and workmanship is brilliant and all for a very good price. Please support this brilliant local gem of tailor.

I had such a wonderful experience, he tailored my blazer so it fits me perfectly and my trousers have been hemmed wonderfully. The stitches are of high quality and I so incredibly grateful and happy with the service! Moreover he was able alter everything in such a short period of time, just in time for my upcoming events I needed my outfit for! :)

Very kindly repaired a tear in the front of my puffer jacket and I was so impressed by the result! I really can’t tell where the damage was and done for such a great price. I would really recommend Daddy Alterations, I’ll definitely be back for future repairs.
