Great little spot for breakfast. Having just left full and satisfied I can honestly say the whole experience was a joy. The two staffs working there were really nice and warming and the cafe had a really good atmosphere. The food arrived really fast and was piping hot! They seem to cater to even the fussiest customers too. They offer a good selection of food and also they have amazing vege sausage that are out of this world! The price was also reasonable and last one it was tasty sauce "HP" I would highly recommend!
Lovely local cafe with proper caf food! Great for breakfast or lunch! Their pastries are delicious, I highly recommend the pistachio croissant. Coffee is great! I very regularly eat and drink here and the staff are always so kind and lovely! They always remember me and ask how I am doing:) I have no hesitation recommending cafe dream to anyone!
Ordered lunch and coffee today. It was busy outside but empty inside so not particularly pressured for staff. We had a very long wait for the food, and felt like our order had been forgotten until we heard the next table also discussing the long wait. I was served burnt toast under a very small amount of avocado with bacon and a salad made of slivers of lettuce and tiny bits of cucumber, which was hard to eat. Not quite what I expected and the food was underwhelming. I had guests with me so I didn't make a fuss.
I went to Café Dream in a really hot day, but the A/C inside made the café such a comfortable place to b. Artwork on the walls, which is for sale. Small inside but enough room around the tables. Lots of seating outside for Al fresco fans, but it was too hot for me today. A varied selection on the menu and all the food that came out looked great. Nice mix of customers whilst I was there. Quiet and calm atmosphere. I had breakfast one, which was just the right amount of food and great value for £7.50. Had a brief chat with the owner as I left, a husband and wife team that have had Café Dream for 5 years. Really recommend. Great value for a Gloucester Road Café. Great ingredients. Breakfast was mediocre at best. All cheap ingredients. At that price point should be decent sausage and bacon. Service is almost nonexistent. Also found a big black hair in my food and the ladie just wiped it off the table. Won’t be going back
