We've been around almost all of Bristol's independent burger places now but this one tops the pile hands down. Every aspect of the burger is quality from the brioche roll, patty, to the bacon jam. The staff are great while you're there too!
I was very excited to try the burger as I've been waiting for so long for this place to open in Bristol. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the prices are similar to other burger places. Shame they don't have cider on tap. Unfortunately the patty was just too raw to my taste. Most places prepare the meat "pink and juicy" style but mine and my partner's were simply raw in the middle. I expected a bit more from the chilli fries too, was very simple and not seasoned enough. Such a shame as I had high expectations after reading about them on social media. Guess the bar is just too high up in Bristol when it comes to burger. (Only reason for the 3 stars is because of the friendly staff).
Went in on spec. Had a lunch special cheeseburger fir £5. Outstanding. The flavour and succulence if the burger were amazing. The patty was not over pressed and gently crumbled. The sauces lifted the whole thing. The chef's explained they use a blend of organic beef cuts and purposely chose to go with classic American burger cheese so as not to overshadow the beef. It worked. Awesome.
Quirky place on the vibrant Gloucester Road. The burgers are attractive and absolutely delicious! You can double up for a cheap price, and the concise but tasteful menu offers a range of sides and drinks, including cocktails.
Absolutely fantastic burgers and the chilli fries were very tasty. Would definitely recommend!! The £5 burger and fries deal is very good value for money!!
