I have been using Brookfield Garage for over 15 years. They service and MOT my car every year and have always provided excellent and reliable service. Whenever there is a problem I know they will fix it and charge reasonably for their work. This week my car was totally unresponsive and was parked several streets away. They found the car and breathed new life into it to get it to the garage. They found and fixed the problem. Then they sorted out my key fobs too which were being inconsistent as an extra before I left. Feeling well looked after.
Incredibly pedantic MOT tester. Failed a four year old car because the letters were 0.5mm too close to the top of the plate. Wouldn’t budge. Charged me £30 for new plates and 20 mins labour to fit. Best avoided.
Useless garage… they don’t know how to do work… I done repair the transmission which cost £4000 and after 2months engine fails….. the transmission not working properly while give acceleration car not moving…. They don’t know how to do work and solve the issues. For the transmission work the useless people take 50days…
Replaced the driveshafts of my car and failed to secure the undercarriage properly, meaning that it tore away from the car on the motorway 10 miles after collecting the car, and also failed to align the wheels properly (or advise me to have them aligned) resulting in several hundred pounds worth of tyre costs. Very reluctantly accepted some responsibility for the undercarriage, but blamed it on the undercarriage being previously damaged. If it had already been damaged and difficult to fit, I would have expected them to advise that this was the case and recommend replacement.
As a neighbour and he comes to my shop, I thought it would be best to take the car and check. After 4 days of waiting, they called and said that my car needs a new Heath exchanger, I called Mercedes they priced me for £187. But they guy on the phone told me £870 plus labour. Even though I know the owner. I think it’s rip off. They told me I had to pay £380 because they diagnosed the problem. They should have called me to let me know before if I had to agree with the price. Other place fixed the the problem for £200. I don’t know what to say ?
