A good community resource but as loud as a football stadium. Like others have said it's so loud in here, with babies and kids allowed to make as much noise as they can. If there are any gen zero kids in, they obviously don't care about anyone else at all and you will hear them through your earplugs easily. Even the staff make no attempt to speak together quietly. They obviously don't care about us people who complain about the noise. Shame really as libraries used to be respected, but those days are long gone.
Some of the staff are really helpful, two issues though Noise level and printer being extremely slow awkward to use, The parents are loud and encourage there kids to be as noisy as possible, you will not be able to study unless you have earplugs when talking to staff member they look at you will confused expression and bewilderment. The printer lags for minutes then nothing happens after that you have to into another progame then that doesnt work either such shame as it's a lovely little libray. May i suggest you set aside a day for nurseries and let the users know?
the place could be great.... but super noisy. It's like being in a nursery school. Songs, shouts and parents who do nothing to quiet their babies. Nor does anyone who works in the library do anything to keep order. It's a shame about the place.
Great atmosphere, very inclusive, kind and helpful staff. Just wish it were open for longer hours, from 9am every day, on a Tuesday, and on a Monday morning.
Really lovely library with good facilities and events for babies. Very convenient PCs and printer facilities. Also the chap that works here is so helpful, kind and generous with his time. He’s helped me a couple of times now with the printers and is just a lovely man! Thank you :)
