Been coming here for five years. Never had any problems, food always hot and tasty, staff friendly, etc. Wouldn't go anywhere else for pizza. Council food hygiene rating of 5/5, so don't know what people who say its dodgy are talking about. Ever consider you were ill because you got drunk?
Good prices for bulk calories. Their fish and chips are probably the best in this part of Bristol. The service is always friendly. The pizzas are good value and always tasty. And one of the few places you can get pickled eggs... And they are open until 4:00am Sunday morning - breakfast for an early start birding on the Somerset Levels in the summer months.
Absolutely the worse pizza we have ever had, I don't know what kind of 'cheese' they use, but the thing had absolutely no cheese taste at all! Worse the ham tasted like it had gone off! Phoned to complain and the guy's going on about how they use "best ham" and the "best cheese" - absolute nonsense of course. We chucked most of it away - what waste!
The pizza has gotten much better since they've refurbished and it's still very reasonably priced. My only real criticism is that I've never known them to deliver within 45 minutes and it usually takes about an hour to arrive.
This weekend has been eventful, to say the least. Firstly I went for my weekly spray tan at Waterstones. The staff were slightly confused at why I'd come to a book shop to have a spray tan? With morale low I thought a pizza would help me to shed the (weight) from these ole' shoulders, (they're not what they used to be at all). I'd put a little money I'd been saving for a rainy day like a squirrel with two cheeks full and intended my hard earned Jiro to fund my avid appreciation of pizza. To dispel any sense of digression from the point I'll get to the meat of the tale. the pizza was a bit shite, chips were shite-er ngiyabonga ngokuba ukulalela Mana iNkosi Yours forever Colin Montgomery
