This was the perfect place for us staying the night for visiting the hospital. Instantly we felt welcomed. All the staff was great. The menu was extensive and there was a lot to choose from. Our bed was so comfortable and the ensuite suit our needs. I would definitely recommend this pub especially for visiting someone at the hospital.
Food was fantastic service was great. Only thing letting it be 5 for rooms was the seperate bathroom for the price was a tad high.. the 2 single bedroom i had was super clean.. I DO recommend this for food and overnight stay
Met some old work friends for a drink and a snack. We ordered the sharing nachos with chilli beef. Yummy! It was a massive portion and I know it was a sharing plate, but anywhere it would have been smaller. This was loaded! Lots cheese, guacamole, chili. I wish I had taken a pic. Trust me it was huge!
Not the best pubs are just in the centre, we can find some going around. This is more such as a pub for locals, I mean, obviously it's open too everybody, but due to not being into the typical tourist line it's more visited by people from the neighborhood. Come a have a drink outside, specially in sunny and warm days, in the beer garden.
Great Sunday roast and veggie/vegan options. The roast is definitely on the pricier side but they are huge portions, and we got given a free shot after our meal which was lovely!
