Good food with good flavors and very well served. Plenty of options if you’re not vegetarian (which I am). I wish there were options containing protein for vegetarian meals (such as soya mince or tofu)! The churros were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, well decorated and cozy.
Staff were so welcoming from the minute we entered the restaurant, also asking whether we’d like to sit in or out. The interior is lovely, makes you feel like you are somewhere far away from Bristol. Outstanding cocktails. Quality, flavourful food with great service throughout. A lovely buzz in the place. Will definitely be back!
This is one of Bristol's secrets, apparently it's been here for years. The service was outstanding, not formal but professional friendly, lots of smiles and good but not rushed service. The food was beautifully presented, and full of fresh flavours, not buried under chilli and very tasty. A great atmosphere In short it was a great experience. Thank you .
We went before the Pandemic and it was amazing, truly Mexican food. We went back last week (March 2025) and it was nothing like before. The service was poor, the young lady that served us seemed to be annoyed we were there. The food was bad. My partner had Pollo con Arroz and it tasted like it was boiled rice with some chicken (he had the same dish a few years back and it was amazing). I had the pulled pork dish and even though the meat was quite tasty and moist everything else on the dish looked old and not very flavoursome. I also ordered the fried plantain and it was properly burned (looked black and tasted burned and very oily). We had the calamari for starter and the fried on it was bad. It was super oily and it had a weird colour (like the oil was old). I was so excited to finally go back but the experience wasn't very nice.
I cant say enough words to express how good this place is. Came here with a friend by chance “the restaurant we were going to was closed” so we got here The restaurant was sooo good. The vibes are Authentic Mexican with the decorations and music. The food was super delicious. Best Nachos ive had.
