Suzie/Brenda the best bar tenders I've ever seen. Looking after us when the bar is closed. The best bar on Glos road. Suzie is the one to ask for. 100% would recommend
Came in earlier this evening for a quick bite. Manager behind the bar pointed out the karaage chicken and crispy squid. Food was perfect and didn’t take too long. Definitely recommend for a good pint and bit of football
Staff on Thursday night was great, very friendly and handled our large group orders really well. Food was okay, expensive for what it is and there aren't many healthy options.. Atmosphere was lovely.
Bella and Susie were so welcoming to me and all of my friends. They showed us a wonderful time and enhanced our experience so much. I will definitely be coming back to the bishops tavern because of those two and the hospitality they showed us.
Went there for a friends birthday meal. It's definitely not a place for that unless you are into sports. Very loud tvs, yet no one watching them. And everyone had to shout at each other to be heard when talking because the tvvs were so loud. Food had to be pre ordered, which isn't a problem. The problem was that even though it was pre ordered, they still ran out of ingredients, which is unacceptable. The food was not that great! It's definitely a sports bar only, not a place to get together, and definitely not a birthday meal. The young lady who was serving us was lovely and friendly and couldn't apologise enough for the missing food and the time it took her by herself to serve us all (over 20 in the group) some didn't get their food before others had finished eating. Really, the manager should have apologised for all the mishaps, not the lovely service lady.
