I went to buy a few records in there with a couple friends and the shop owner was awkward and acted like he didn't want to sell them to me as I was paying by card. It seemed as if he had this attitude towards us because of our age and was talking down to us. He perked up when I said I could buy the records elsewhere... Weird atmosphere in there and wouldn't visit again.
NOT FRIENDLY to newbies who are new to the world of hifi. Went in there for some simple advice re banana plugs and not even five minutes into the conversation I was snapped at for asking for some clarification "Youre not listening". I snapped back at the staff member and he walked off on me in the store, which tells me he wasn't used to customers sticking up for themselves. I'll say again, our interaction lasted not even five minutes, not ten to fifteen minutes of back and forth and the staff member gave up on someone who was open about not being very experienced with hifi systems. This was followed by a verbal and physical confrontation after I called the staff member out on what I viewed as very disrespectful behavior. He put his hands on me when I was asked to leave which is not acceptable. After leaving, went down to Elevator Sound where I was served by a polite and friendly young gentleman who gave me the advice I needed. Totally unprofessional. Would not recommend.
Very nice place, I asked for some cables for my new speakers and they informed me well.
Paul is brilliant. Came out and assessed our needs, installed the equipment around class times and actually stuck his phone number to the equipment so we can contact him at anytime. To top that off our situation changed and he did some research and came back to the studio and sorted everything out for us as part of his "after sales service".
