This place is cheap and you don't need to book in advance, but there is a reason for that! I came to get my shellac taken off and they went straight in with the electric drill without soaking in acetone/scraping first. It's efficient, but with the drill there's a fine balance between removing all the shellac and damaging the nail bed. I don't feel like it was removed very well, and based on that I wouldn't trust them to do anything more complex. But it cost £7 and I was in and out in 15 mins so can't complain!
It genuinely pains me to write a negative review of this lovely family business. I’ve enjoyed great service for the best part of the last decade which the new person who is helping out for a while single-handed my ruined in one day. She did an awful job yesterday. There was no giving her any feedback in the moment (I tried) as she just wouldn’t listen. The nails are uneven and completely different shapes on each hand, the colour is patchy and very sparse and the top coat has bubbles in it. Mistakes that are easily done but equally easily fixed. Having contacted them again a few hours later with pictures of the nails they apologised and agreed to redo them. I just went in to have my corrective work done and the same awful woman began shouting at me! I mean, really shouting. It was absolutely humiliating. Please don’t let this women destroy the hard work you’ve put into building a great business. I wish Son and Kim all the best. But sadly I won’t be returning until she goes.
10/10 Professional & high quality I've been coming to Nail Perfection for over a year so feel overdue adding a review! The team provide a consistently excellent service, always high quality and professional at a really reasonable price. They have a huge range of colours and are always friendly and welcoming. I am always impressed at the quality of the nails and have never had any issues. Best salon in Bristol I'll continue to come back to time and time again :)
I was due to be seen at 2pm but two other women had walked in in front of me, the gentleman was obviously in a rush to complete my manicure/shellac. Poor nail preparation and didn’t touch my cuticles. Said he would do it ‘next time’ after the treatment was finished. Poor painting and now after only two days uneven, ragged edged nails. I won’t be returning.
excellent service, this is my favourite nail salon in bristol. edit: used to be lol! went again today, i wasn’t asked if the colour was okay and left crying. when i said i didn’t like the colour i was told it was fine and sent on my way after paying. my nails are sharp and uneven. i won’t be coming back unfortunately.
