Ken resurrected my water damaged, rusty 55 year old Omega Seamaster to excellent running condition, even though I had not worn it for 25 years. I am now wearing it every day. Also repaired my late uncles 70 year old Smiths presentation watch. All at a ridiculously low price. Ken is a throwback to a bygone age, when skills were appreciated and money was of secondary concern. There are not many left like him.
What an amazing place. He is so knowledgeable and very reasonable, has plenty of amazing stories too! A gem of a place!
Excellent workmanship at very reasonable prices. Mr. Ford has restored two of our antique clocks.
Fantastic service for watch repairs - highly recommend!
Mr Ford is a storied man, and highly skilled at what he does. His knowledge is encyclopaedic. If you need any watch or clock mechanisms fixing or even just a battery swap, he can do it )often right there and then for a simple battery swap). Changing the battery on a Tag Heuer took 2 minutes and cost £6. That’s around £40 cheaper than the official Tag service centre. I can’t he’ll but think he might even be too cheap. Go for the service, hang out for the stories. Ask him about the U-boat clock he has as a souvenir on a shelf. A true craftsman.
