Food is great if you like pickle eggs and crisps, they cater for a number of flavours. The beers are all cask local breweries and they pride themselves on the brewery not being more than 30ish miles away. The beers are all so fresh and looked after by professional beers persons. It's a small friendly place and highly recommended.
An excellent small pub in an old drapers shop. Excellent range of well cared for beer. Crowded with friendly locals some of whole spill out onto the seats outside. It’s an excellent place if you love a drink or two of beer and a pickled egg!
We had decided on a trip to Bristol to sample real ale and this establishment had been highly recommended by our local micro pub owner. We arrived just after opening time on a Thursday (St David’s Day) and were warmly greeted by the owner. First impressions on entering were this is just how a micro pub should be. We certainly weren’t disappointed excellent beer selection, friendly clientele perfect snacks to enjoy with your beer. Sadly we only had time for a couple of pints before catching the bus back to Temple Meads Station for our journey back Romsey Hampshire. We all plan to return and will recommend to our friends. In summary the perfect Micro Pub in every aspect !! If only we lived closer !!
What a lovely place I found it by mistake they could do with putting some advertising boards outside you can walk past it quite easily without knowing what the place is that once you get inside is a little gem I will be going very regularly but staff are excellent to customers are very friendly like I said best to look to all the management they obviously do a very good job and work hard
Best micro pub ever, so lucky to live really close by. Great selection of tasty, local ales constantly changing. Friendly place and great atmosphere!
