We used Compass Project for a house clearance and were very happy with their performance. Very prompt, tidy and good at following instructions on what to take and what to leave. I would give six stars out of five if I could.

I love this place. Very well priced and such friendly people! Their delivery service is really great and I felt so well looked after, the guys went above and beyond to get what I bought into my house and where I wanted it!! I'll be back 👍

Great store with friendly staff. We got a nice table and chairs and the owner was happy to swap chairs around for us. Delivery was included in the price, turned up on time and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit

Up to them how they run the charity and I am grateful to all the volunteers. I was just a bit surprised when I went to donate some reasonable dining chairs thst just needed revarnishing and got told they weren't worth enough to make it worth doing. I thought it was done by volunteers so any money made is worth it. They weren't exsctly IKEA chairs... I had previously donated cheaper things to then a few years back and they were grateful. Anyway up to them how they run it, just don't go a long way to donate a less you have antiques...

Do not use - go with Sofa Project! From my experiences Compass Project are chancers and best and wasters at worst. I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. I phoned up on a Sunday and explained that I had a leather sofa, a bed frame and a futon. The person on the phone said that they all sounded good and agreed for someone to come and pick them up the following Saturday between 10am and midday. Come the Saturday, I phone up at 10:10am to confirm the pick up and ask for a more accurate time. Took them a while to find my details, but they confirmed that someone would arrive before midday, but could not be more accurate on timings. At midday, no-one has arrived. I phone up to ask where they are and am asked to wait 15 minutes (this time, it takes them an age to find my details). After 20 minutes, still no-one, so I phone back and this time they say that they'll phone the van to find out where they are -- not clear why they didn't do that at midday when the van was already late. A few minutes later, the van driver phones me to say he'll be with me soon (it's now nearly 12:30pm). They do turn up shortly after. I'm greeted with a comment about the previous job and a conspiratorial wink as if to say, 'you know what customers are like... but you'll not be like that, will you'. When they came in, the first thing they did was look at the futon. "Who did you speak to? Did you speak to Chris?" He asked. No one had given me their names, so I don't know who I spoke to. "We don't take futons you see." I see. But I definitely said that I had a futon and you definitely said that you'd take it. "No, we just can't shift them." Fine; whatever, it's been almost 3 hours now of twiddling my thumbs and I just need to get on with things. They take my bed frame to load onto the van and while they're doing that one of them looks at my sofa. "It's got a bit of a mark on it." The sofa is nearly 10 years old. It's not in perfect condition, but it is a solid bit of furniture from John Lewis and it's going to charity for free. "No, we can't take that. We can take it off you as scrap, but then we'll need to charge you £20." No. Thank you. Please just go. So after nearly 3 hours of wasting my time, they then only take one third of the things that they said they would. For various reasons, I was relying on this stuff being taken, so it was massively inconvenient to me and thank goodness I had access to a van that day or I would have been in real trouble. You cannot promise to pick things and then not do so. If quality is a concern then that's fair enough, but you should ask for photos to confirm the state of it or explain that it's possible things may not be taken if they fall below a clear level. It's just not ok to turn up and then say, 'Naaah, don't fancy it,' when that's never been stated as a possibility before. I'm gutted they got my bed, TBH. Cf. Sofa Workshop who were delighted to receive both bits of furniture (no issues with the sofa's 'damage') and just thoroughly nice and helpful. Livid to have ever had the misfortune to come across this lot.
